After graduating from the Radio and Television program at Ryerson Polytechnic University, I began my career in television news working at CITY TV in Toronto as a Citypulse news cameraman. I was proud to be one of Canada's first video journalists, telling stories from behind the camera.
Moving on to Global TV, I was able to do more national stories where I won several awards including a Gemini award for Best News Photography.
CTV Ottawa offered me a senior news cameraman position which gave me the opportunity to come back home. After seven years and several more awards, I went freelance which opened up a whole new world of production. Since then, I have been the Director of Photography on 6 Canadian television series and worked on many others as camera operator. I am also very busy with corporate videos, news and commercials. My resume with complete production credits is available on this website.
I have also had the opportunity to give workshops on videography and lighting across Canada as well as Australia !
Had a great time shooting a promotional video of Killarney Lodge for Allan Joyner Productions with Michelle Rekoph directing. I received my first SFOC for the project and am now fully insured as well. Looking forward to more projects using the drone.
